These posters will be visible in the London Underground for 2 weeks during the Christmas season. The organizer of this original exhibition is ArtQuid
ArtQuid qu’est-ce que c’est?
The mission of ArtQuid is to place art in people’s daily lives since the reality is that some people do not take the time to move to meet art.
It is with this philosophy that it has organized since 2018 an event called “Expo-Metro”
The principle is to select artists and allow them to exhibit on posters of very large formats in the heart of public places as is the case for the metro.
The objective of this exhibition in the London Underground is to give visibility to artists from any media or medium to present their work and reach thousands of people who are not necessarily amateurs and thus to present artistic visuals without necessarily commercial objectives behind, just for the pleasure of the eyes and thus awaken sensations in each of us
A previous edition was held in Paris at Châtelet station on line 7 in December 2017
380 artists exhibited from 11 to 17 December 2018 on 8 giant posters at this station with nearly 500,000 views
