This painting was created especially for an exhibition taking place in Montmartre (Paris, France) organized by the European Academy of Arts, on the premises of a parish (Paroisse St Pierre de Montmartre).
I wanted to represent a character who seems to be lost in a forest and that is guided by these lights.
I can give two explanations for this idea:
The first is that I was returning from a trip to Japan where I saw beautiful forests of bamboo and the second is that during this period I watched the episodes of the TV series “Under the Dom” (those who saw him will understand)
